Evelyn Sikora, Psy.D., Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Sikora joined our clinical team at the Center for Neurology and Spine in 2019. Dr. Sikora is a native of Colorado and her family originates from Poland. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. She relocated to Glendale, Arizona for the completion of her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at Midwestern University. During her graduate school training, she received experience in individual/group/couples therapy, psychological assessment and neuropsychological assessment to children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Her dissertation focused on identifying the impact of handedness consistency/inconsistency on cognitive functioning in older clinical populations. Dr. Sikora completed her pre-doctoral internship training at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio where she engaged in providing psychological assessments and therapy to children and adolescents in an inpatient hospital setting, providing individual therapy to graduate students at a student counseling center, and conducting group therapy with patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Dr. Sikora completed an extensive two-year clinical neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship at South Texas Neuropsychology in San Antonio, Texas from 2016 to 2018 with training in a variety of settings, including private practice, San Antonio Army Medical Center (SAMMC), Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC), South Texas Veterans Health Care, and Mentis Neuro Health, a cognitive rehabilitation hospital. She provided neuropsychological evaluations and cognitive rehabilitation therapy to young adult and geriatric patients who experienced changes in cognitive functioning. Dr. Sikora performs neurocognitive evaluations and works closely with the neurologists in evaluating a number of cognitive disorders.
